It’s a big ambition and, if this year is anything to go by, it won’t be without its challenges. This year has seen many large-scale humanitarian emergencies; some as a result of natural disasters, others fuelled by conflict. But whether it’s an earthquake or flood, civil war or epidemic, there’s always one constant – it’s the poorest people who are hit the hardest.
Throughout 2015 Oxfam has been responding across the globe, bringing life-saving support to millions of affected people, and helping individuals and communities rebuild their lives and livelihoods.
