Results of GFP Board Meeting relating to Discussions Points of AGM ( per the AGM Minutes 2016 )
RECORDING OF FIGURES/CONTRIBUTION REPORTING
The floor suggested to have an idea of what GFP Partners contributed in terms of Business between each other. These stats would form a greater understanding of what business was being exchanged and could be used to review a partners strength of weakness or approach to a shipping line/airline for incentive.
GFP Board Outcome – A majority decision was made to table this idea until at least 2017 AGM for the following reason/s
A – ALL GFP Partners would need to participate
B – GFP could not enforce timely reporting
C – Easy form of software would be required which would increase Membership Fees
D – Global contracts are limited to Networks with exception of 2 current Airlines
SALES LEAD SOFTWARE PROGRAMME
The floor suggested a more proactive exchange of SALES LEAD through the GFP which could be monitored/controlled/review/tracked
GFP Board Outcome – A majority decision was made to table this idea until 2017/2018
There is a Sales Lead programme which is easy to use but cost is per user based.
It was suggested that it could be looked at as a secondary membership for those who wanted to participate, therefore a vote would be require in 2017 with a more valid proposal
It was reminded that GFP Partners had an obligation under the terms of Membership and general agency agreements should dictate that all GFP Partners exchange Sales Lead via their own efforts, recording and follow up
